Before our Production Department can get to work on your standard or custom trusses, we’ll need the purchase orders. If you’re a builder of a master-planned community, we’ll need the purchase orders for each individual lot. Then, we can schedule delivery with each lot and send the order to the Production Department.

Once the Production Department receives the go-ahead, they will use our sophisticated robotic technology to kick off the manufacturing process. Files are uploaded to the automated, robotic saws. By having computer-controlled saws make the cuts, each piece of each truss is guaranteed to fit together perfectly.

After all of the cuts are made, our build crew receives the individual components, along with the blueprints. Each jig location is equipped with computers, allowing the build crew to see the drawings at a glance. The outline of each truss is automatically set up to ensure it’s built correctly. Each piece is positioned properly, and then plates are set with a hammer and staples. The roller then travels down the steel table to press the plate firmly into the wood, holding everything together.

After the truss has been assembled, it’s moved along a conveyor system into another roller. Here, it receives a final press to ensure that the gusset plates are fully embedded into the wood.

Lastly, all of the standard or custom trusses are sent to the packager. The packager assembles each package of trusses, ensuring that the customer will receive exactly what they need for their building project.
